25 Nov July 18 – Mental Health and BAME at Warrington Mela
The Warrington Mela took place this summer, it brought together cultures from all over the Northwest to celebrate their difference and connect. It was a great day!
I was promoting mental health messages along with the Public Health team. I was able to speak with members of the public and raise awareness of mental health issues. The public also came up with some great examples of how they manage their own emotional wellbeing, such as… the use of exercise, yoga, meditation and being social.
Maintaining positive mental health doesn’t have to be complex. One thing that can help can be simply doing thing’s that you enjoy, whatever it may be, and by ensuring that you make the time it to happen. Your wellbeing and happiness is important – you are important.
